About

We are Darren and Tammy Sniffen, a local couple born and raised in Hawaii.

We were blessed to be raised around our close-knit multi-generational families complete with great-grandparents, grandparents and our parents, as many of us in Hawaii are.  We got to experience kupuna aging, and our parents taking care of them.

This safety company was started after we experienced a scary time when my elderly grandmother lost her balance and fell when she stepped out of her kitchen onto her stairs.  Our whole family worried that she might really hurt herself if she fell again.  Grandma lived alone, enjoyed her independence and refused to move from her home when it was suggested for her safety.

My father tore out the stairs and built a ramp for her so she could safely walk to her washer and dryer on laundry day. Grandma really liked her ramp and it was a safer way for her to exit her house.  To assist in keeping Grandma safer, my father also installed grab bars in her bathtub. 

We also know that there is a growing community of aging senior who’s families have ongoing concerns about their health and safety. If we can help bring peace of mind, for that freedom , safety and independence to your life or that of a loved on, you can be confident in our ability. Darren is currently working as a carpenter with over 20 years of experience. I work in  medical administration. In the summers we enjoy fishing for salmon in Alaska.
